Updated this week

Once timesheets are enabled in your account, each scheduled assignment added to the Project Planner will be expected to be linked to an actual hour entry in Runn.

Therefore, it is important to ensure that you plan ahead of inviting your staff to start entering timesheets in Runn.

If you are new to Runn

If you have just started using Runn, you may have scheduled people on the projects on your Project Planner.

1. Please ensure all assignments are scheduled AFTER the expected date of rolling out Runn's timesheet to your staff. If not, adjust accordingly.

Otherwise, there will be incomplete entries on your staff's timesheets, and they will be blocked from entering the current week's timesheet.

Example

If you plan to have all your staff start filling out their timesheets in Runn on Jun 20th, please make sure there are NO assignments before Jun 20th.

3. Check the Missing Timesheet Reports to ensure there are no missing timesheet entries.

4. If there are missing actuals, you will have to remove the scheduled assignment on that date.

5. Invite timesheet users to the account. Provide them with the guidelines for filling in timesheets in Runn.

6. Timesheet users can start entering actual hours on their timesheets.

If you have existing assignments in Runn

  1. If you have existing scheduled assignments and you want to keep them in Runn, you will need to add all the historical actual hours data to Runn first.

  2. After adding the historical actual hours data, check the Missing Timesheet Reports to ensure there are no missing timesheet entries.

  3. Invite timesheet users to the account. Provide them with the guidelines for filling in timesheets in Runn.

  4. Timesheet users can enter actual hours on their timesheets starting from the current week.
