Are you a User in Runn?

You must be invited as a User and added as a Person in the Runn Account to fill out a timesheet.

This article is about manually entering actual hours in your timesheets in Runn.

If your company is using the Chrome Extension to track actual hours, please refer to this help article.

Filling in your Timesheets

Access your Timesheets

1. Login to Runn and go to My Timesheets > Edit Timesheets

2. Click on the arrows in the top right corner to navigate to the week you want to log actual hours for

Enter actual hours in your timesheet

3. There are different ways to enter actual hours in your timesheets. You can:

  • Enter hours for individual days (Tip: use the Tab key in your keyboard to move on to the next field quickly)

  • Enter the total hours for the week in the last field (Runn will automatically split the entry evenly between the 5 days)

🚨 Important 🚨

You must enter time in every field, including 0 if no work has been completed. Failing to do so will result in an incorrect total of hours.

Add Phases linked to the actual hours (Optional)

By default, the phase of the actual hours will be the same as the scheduled assignments, as denoted by the color of the dot next to the number of hours scheduled.

You can change the phase by clicking on the color dot in the field to change the phase if needed

Add Timesheet Notes (Optional)

Click on the word bubble icon in the field to add notes to your actual hours (e.g. tasks you have worked on)

Add Non-billable Hours (Optional)

NB stands for Non-billable. Turn on the Non-billable Toggle to add non-billable hours if needed.

Add Weekend Hours (Optional)

Toggle on Weekends to add actual hours on weekends if needed.

Add actual hours to a Project you were not scheduled on (Optional)

Click the Add Project button on the bottom left corner to add a project to your timesheet.

Save your timesheet entries

4. Click the Save button
