How to Change a User's Permission Settings

  1. Navigate to the user that you want to change permissions for and click the Edit button.

  2. Click the User Type Tab, you can now select the User Type and any associated permissions settings.

  3. If the user is a Manager, define the People Access and Projects Access.

  4. If the user is a Manager,

    • Manage People is On

      • From the People (All) Tab, select the people to be managed by the user (All or Restricted).

      • If Restricted is selected, add the people's names under Managed People.

      • You can bulk add multiple people by adding their email addresses, comma-separated. E.g. "alex@runn.io, annie@runn.io" and press Enter

      • The email address must have been added as Person Details to the Person

    • Manage Project is On

      • From the Projects (All) Tab, select the projects to be managed by the user. (All or Restricted)

      • If Restricted is selected, add the project names under Managed Projects.

  5. Click on Save.

Bulk update Permission levels via CSV

If you want to bulk update your users permission level at once, you can also use our CSV tool to bulk update users' permission levels.
