Overview

You can grant users different permissions based on what they need to perform in Runn. For example, you can:

  • Restrict Project Managers' right to add people to projects

  • Enable Team Leads to only edit specific projects and people

  • Restrict Project/People Managers to only edit their projects/people

There are 3 levels of User Types - Admin, Manager and Contributor. Each has varying degrees of power.

User Types Explained

Admin

Admins have the highest level of access to an organization's Runn account, can perform all other actions of Contributors and Managers. The Admin User type allows you to customize access to ‘Account Settings and Data’ and ‘Financials’

Manager

The Manager user type has the second highest level of access within Runn. The Manager User type allows you to customize access to People, Projects and Financials.

Contributor

The Contributor user type has the most limited access in Runn.
Contributors can either access and manage timesheets only, or be granted permission to view the planner.
