Here are some common permission settings for Individual Contributors (or Project Team Members) in an organization:

Individual Contributors

The IC is allowed to view all project schedules and people's details

If the Individual Contributor is:

  • Allowed to view all projects in the Runn account and all people's allocation (e.g. an internal staff), and

  • You want them to view their project schedule so they can keep track of milestones and project phases

User Permission Setup:

  • User Type - Contributor

  • View Planner - Planner and Timesheets

The IC only needs to view and enter timesheets

This is the setup for a user who can access the least information available in Runn. If the Individual Contributor is:

  • Not Allowed to view all projects in the Runn account and all people's allocation (e.g. an external contractor), and

  • You only need them to enter timesheets in Runn

User Permission Setup:

Please note that this user can still see the list of all project names and add log timesheets against any projects in the account.
