Only admins with Edit Account Settings and Data set as On access can invite new users to Runn.
There are two ways you can invite users to your Runn account:
Inviting a person who has been added to Runn (visible on the People Planner)
Inviting someone who is not a managed resource in Runn
Inviting a person who has been added to Runn
From the People Planner, click on 3-dot icon next to a Person's Name.
Click on the 'Invite to Runn' button:
You will be instructed to add an email address if none is currently saved > Continue
Choose a User Type and define the permission settings.
If the user is a Manager, define the People Access and Projects Access.
Define the Financial Data Permissions
If the user to be invited is a Manager,
Manage People is On
From the People (All) Tab, select the people to be managed by the user (All or Restricted).
If Restricted is selected, add the people's names under Managed People.
You can bulk add multiple people by adding their email addresses, comma-separated. E.g. "alex@runn.io, annie@runn.io" and press Enter
The email address must have been added as Person Details to the Person
Manage Project is On
From the Projects (All) Tab, select the projects to be managed by the user. (All or Restricted)
If Restricted is selected, add the primary teams and/or project names under Managed Projects.
Click Add User.
Inviting someone who is not a managed resource in Runn
Click on your user profile icons and go to Settings > Users.
Click Invite User to Account:
Enter the email address of the user you want to invite in the Email field > Continue
Choose a User Type and define the permission settings.
If the user is a Manager, define the People Access and Projects Access.
Define the Financial Data Permissions
If the user to be invited is a Manager,
Manage People is On
From the People (All) Tab, select the people to be managed by the user (All or Restricted).

Manage Project is On

Click Add User.
Manage Invitations
The new invitation will appear under Manage > Users > Invitations until the user accepts the invite and registers their account:
What happens after an invitation expires?
The Invitation link expires after 7 days. If the invitee clicks on the link after 7 days, they will automatically receive a new email with a new link to register for the account:
💡Pro tip: Admins do not need to resend the invitation after it has expired. The invitee can still use the link in the email to generate a new invitation link.
Resend or Cancel an invitation
You can resend or cancel a pending invite by clicking on the 3-dot icon next to the invitation expiry date:
Once cancelled, Runn invalidates the link in the email invite, and the user will no longer be able to create an account.
Users can still join the account even if the invitation link has expired. You must cancel the invitation if you do not want the user to join your Runn account.
