I'm new to Runn. How do I add historical data to my existing projects?

If you are new to Runn, and you have added your existing projects, you might want to consider adding the historical data so you can keep track of the overall project workload and financials.

If you use timesheets in Runn

If you plan to use timesheets in Runn:

  • Bulk import past timesheets via our CSV Tool

  • Manually add future assignments in Runn only

❌ If you plan to use timesheets in Runn, do NOT add assignments in the past to avoid creating unexpected assumed hours.

βœ… We recommend only adding historical timesheets up to the past 6 to 12 months only if necessary.

If you don't use timesheets in Runn

If you don't plan to use timesheets in Runn and you just want to keep track of past hours, you can add past assignments manually.

Alternatively, if you don't need to keep track of historical workload per person but just need to include the overall past revenue and cost in the project, you can use the Other Expenses Tab to manually enter the past revenue and cost associated with the project.
