The People Access setting allows you to give the manager full edit access to 'All' or 'Restricted' People.
The visibility of People's Salary information and Rates is subject to the Manager's Financial Data setting.
All
When All is selected, the Manager can perform the following actions:
Edit all people
Add and Remove all people to all projects (but cannot add assignments to the projects, this is determined by the user's Manager Projects setting)
Add, edit or delete Scheduled Leave for all people
Add or remove Public Holiday Groups for all people
Add, edit or delete contract information of all people
Create new people in Runn
Delete all people without assignments
View and Export data of all people and projects from Reports
They cannot:
Create or update people details via CSV tool
Create new people custom field options
Delete any person with assignments or actual hours
Set up Public Holiday Groups in the account
Create, Edit or Delete Skills and People Tags from the account
To access these functions, the user must be set as an Admin user.
Restricted
When Restricted is selected, the Manager can perform the following actions:
Edit the details only the people they are assigned as Managers (Restricted People)
Add and Remove Restricted People from any projects (regardless of their Manage Projects access)
Add, edit or delete Scheduled Leave for Restricted People
Add or remove Public Holiday Groups for Restricted People
Add, edit or delete contract information of Restricted People
Add, edit or delete timesheet entries for all projects assigned to the Restricted People (regardless of their Manage Project Access)
Create new people in Runn (These people will be managed by the user by default)
View and Export data of all people and projects from Reports
They cannot edit or delete any other people that they don't manage. All other people will remain as view only.
Managed People
The people listed here are editable by the user. The user can also add these people to managed projects.
