Please note that the permissions settings outlined in this article will be available after 2 December 2024. For current permission settings, please refer to this Collection.
Once you have set the manager's permissions to Manage Projects as Restricted, you’ll need to navigate to each Project individually and assign the Managers to it.
From the Project Planner
From the Project Planner, find the project and click on the 3-dot icon next to the Project Name
Select Edit Details
Find the form field called Managers (optional)
From the dropdown, select the Manager or Managers that you would like to assign. Then click Save.
Only Managers with Manage Projects set as Restricted can be selected from dropdown menu.
For Managers with Manage Projects set as All, they will by default have the right to edit this project and cannot be selected from the dropdown.
Bulk Update via CSV Tool
You can use our CSV tool to bulk add users to the Projects that they can manage.
