Only Admin users with Edit Account Settings and Data set as On have access to the CSV Import & Export Tool.
You can use the CSV Import/Exporter to:
Assign Restricted Project Managers to projects
Update the Managers of projects
Assigning Restricted Manager to Projects
If you have multiple Restricted Project Managers (the User Type is Manager and their Projects Access is Restricted), you can use the Projects CSV to bulk-assign projects to these Manager users.
The Manager users must have already accepted the invitation to the account.
1. Download Existing Projects CSV
Hover your cursor to the top right-hand corner, click Settings
Click CSV
Click on the Projects Tab, expand Projects
Click Download Existing Projects CSV (Only Active Projects are exported)
2. Download Existing Permissions CSV
Click on the Users and Permissions Tab, expand Update Permissions
Click Download Existing Permissions CSV
3. Add the User IDs to the Project Manager IDs column
Open the Permissions CSV file downloaded, from the first column, you will find each user's unique User ID
Open the Projects CSV file downloaded, locate the Project Manager IDs column
Add the respective Manager's User ID to each project
If you need to add multiple managers, use a comma as a separator e.g. 23454,43567
DO NOT make any changes to the first Project ID column
