Understanding Runn's new Activity Log feature

Designed to replace the previous project History Log - this updated log provides more visibility into your project activities, including people activities within your organization.

Included Features:

βœ… Comprehensive Activity Tracking

  • Track both people and project activities

  • Access person-specific activities from the people dashboard

  • Review project-specific activities directly from the project dashboard, replacing the previous project history log

  • Filter by project and/or people to narrow down the view of your activities/events

  • Events are grouped based on common attributes

βœ… Extended Date Range and Viewing Options

  • By default, the last 7 days of activities is displayed

  • Standard Pro Plan users can view up to 32 days

  • Enterprise Plan users can view up to 93 days

πŸš€ In this initial phase of introducing the Activity Log, certain functionalities were identified but not included:

  • Ability to export activity logs

  • Filter by User

  • Filter by Event Type (eg. Milestones)

  • Group Special Events (eg. Project Reschedule, Transfers, Changing a person's workstream or project role, Changing to Non-Billable)

  • Full-text Search (searching within activities/events using keywords or phrases)

  • Filtering activities/events related to deleted people or projects

  • Filtering by Person and Project on dashboard activity (ie. ability to filter by people on individual projects and vice versa)

  • Record actuals events from Clockify, Harvest and Workflow Max

These features and functionalities are part of Runn's roadmap for future updates πŸš€
