Only Admin users can access the CSV Import/Exporter.
Custom fields allow you to add reference information specific to your business, to projects and to people.
You need to set up custom fields and their properties first before adding them to your people and projects.
If you only have a few custom fields to set up, go to Manage > Custom Fields to set them up manually.
If you have many custom fields to set up, use this Importer to create them in bulk.
You can use the CSV Import/Exporter to:
Add new custom fields
Export a list of all custom fields and custom field options
Update some properties of existing custom fields setup (explanation below)
You cannot delete custom Fields in Runn with the CSV Tool. You will have to delete them manually in Runn.

When updating existing data, please do not make any changes to the Custom Field ID column, or the CSV importer may be unable to identify which data point you want to update.
If you would like to add a new field, you can leave the Custom Field ID blank and just enter the custom field data in a new row

Refer to the above table to see which fields cannot be updated
If you made changes to those non-editable fields and import, you will receive an error message
Add new Options to Single or Multi Select Fields
You can either:
Option 1: Remove all the existing options and only include the new options in your file
Example:
Current list of options: Milan, Paris, Tokyo
New list of options: Vancouver, Boston
You will now add Vancouver and Boston to the list of options, while keeping Milan, Paris and Tokyo
Option 2: Add the new options behind the existing ones, separated by a comma
Example:
Current list of options: Milan, Paris, Tokyo
