Runn doesn’t currently have a built-in baselining feature that automatically compares your current plan to an original baseline.
However, there’s a simple workaround you can use to achieve this.
How can I create a baseline for comparison?
Before your project starts, you can create a snapshot of your plan by duplicating it:
Duplicate your project
Rename it (e.g. “Project X – Baseline”)
Set the duplicated project as Tentative
This gives you a preserved version of your original plan that won’t affect reporting or utilization.
How do I compare the baseline with the current plan?
When you need to compare:
Go to the Tentative toggle dropdown
Turn on the baseline (tentative) project
View it alongside your active project plan:
This allows you to visually compare:
Allocations
Timelines
Resource changes
