With the launch of our new Lite, Standard and Advanced packages, we’ve updated our 8 Fees and Payment Terms.
Only section 8 Fees and Payment Terms have changed. All other terms have stayed the same
Monthly Plans:
8.1 Free trials are now 30 days.
8.4 More clarity on seats and the Plan & Billing page. Invoicing is based on the number of Managed People "seats" on your billing page. Each person managed on your planner requires a seat.
8.5 - 8.7 If you add a person and there is no free seat, a seat will automatically be added and a pro-rated charge will be calculated. For monthly plans, this is applied to your next invoice.
Annual Plans
8.5-8.7 If you are on an annual plan with a credit card:
Adding a new person will automatically add a seat
Anyone adding a new person will be alerted that a pro-rated charge for this new seat will be applied on the 21st of the month.
Admins must remove any "new" unwanted seats before the 21st to avoid a charge.
On the 21st, an invoice will be issued for any new seats added- pro-rated to the remaining end of the billing cycle.
Example 1:
You currently have 100 seats (Managed People) on your billing page for a 1 year contract starting January 1st, 2026.
All the seats are occupied as your have 100 people on your planner.
On March 3rd, you add 15 new people. This adds 15 new seats for a total of 115 seats (Managed People) on your billing page.
On March 18th, those 15 people are archived. You admin logs in and ensure that the seats listed on the billing page is still 100.
There is no invoice or charge.
Example 2:
You currently have 100 seats (Managed People) on your billing page for a 1 year contract starting January 1st, 2026.
All the seats are occupied as your have 100 people on your planner.
On March 3rd, you add 15 new people. This adds 15 new seats for a total of 115 seats (Managed People) on your billing page.
On March 21st, there are still 115 seats (Managed People) on your billing page.
An invoice will be charged to your credit card for the extra 15 seats prorated for 10 months (as the end of the billing cycle is Dec 31st, 2026)
Example 3:
You currently have 100 seats (Managed People) on your billing page for a 1 year contract starting January 1st, 2026.
All the seats are occupied as your have 100 people on your planner.
You remove 10 people from your planner. This has freed up 10 seats.
The next week, you add 10 new people. They take up the empty seats from the week before.
Now all seats are occupied and there is no additional charge.
If you are using a different payment option, these additional charges will be issues at renewal or as determined by your agreement or order form.
8.10 Highlights that 30 days notice to not renew or adjust the seat count is required.

8.1 The free trial entitles new, registered users to a thirty (30) day free trial of the Lite or Standard plans of the Service. No credit card is required for the free trial. Advanced plan trials can be enabled by contacting sales@runn.io.
8.2 A valid credit card is required for paying accounts unless an alternate payment method has been agreed with us.
8.3 Service Fees are as per our pricing page www.runn.io/pricing or as agreed otherwise in writing between you and us. All pricing is in USD. Where you are a New Zealand resident, the Service Fees are exclusive of New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%. Where you are an Australian resident, the Service Fees are exclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%.
8.4 The Service Fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis or annual basis and are non-refundable. The Service Fees are based on the number of seats listed on your Plan & Billing page under Resource Seats/Managed People. Each person you manage within the Service requires a seat.
8.5 Charges for adding seats are pro-rated to the end of the billing cycle. For monthly plans, the additional cost will be applied to the next invoice. For annual plans, seat additions made on or before the 20th of a calendar month will be invoiced on the 21st of that same month covering the remainder of the annual billing cycle.
8.6 Seats are automatically added if none are available upon adding a new person. To avoid charges for unused seats, they must be removed on the Plan & Billing page before the next billing cycle (or before the 21st of the calendar month for annual plans).
8.7 For monthly plans, pro-rated credits for removing a seat will be applied on the next invoice. On our annual plans, there is no pro-rating for removing seats during the billing cycle.
8.8 Unless cancelled in accordance with Section 8.10, subscriptions automatically renew for the applicable renewal term. Renewal fees will be based on the number of seats active on your Plan & Billing page at the time of renewal. For annual plans, any changes to seat quantities must be made at least thirty (30) days prior to the renewal date to take effect for the upcoming renewal term.
8.9 We may change the Service Fee at any time. Existing customers will receive thirty (30) days' notice. Such notice may be provided by posting the changes to our Website, the Service or by email.
8.10 You may provide notice cancelling your subscription at any time for monthly plans. However, your subscription will not end until the end of the current billing period. For annual plans, cancellations must be made 30 days before the renewal date.
