If you are on a Professional, Premium or Enterprise plan- "My View" in combination with your permissions will automatically be created. But you'll need to be a Manager, Restricted People with all your reports assigned to you. You can read more about this in My View.
If you are not using permissions, or are on an older plan, you can work around this by following the steps below:
Filter>People Custom Fields>Line Manager and type in your name.
2. Click on "Save" and name this search for easier access next time.
Notifications
To receive notifications when a request is made for one of your reports, you can subscribe to any notifications connected to them.
Please note that currently there are only notifications for Time off and resourcing requests. So if you are subscribed to specific projects or people, you will be notified if they have time off, if they have been listed as a suggested person in a resourcing request, and if they are added via the resourcing request. You will not be notified if they are directly added to a project - this is coming soon!
To create a subscription group just for your people, go to Settings>Notifications.
Click on "Subscribe" or "Manager Subscription Groups".
3. Go the People tab. You can select a team (Practices) or you can select just the people you are responsible for. You can use the search bar to find them and then toggle on Notifications for them.
4. Once you are done, click on "Subscribe". If you are choosing a team, all new members added to this team will automatically be added to your notifications. If you are subscribed individually, you'll need to update this subscription group when you take on new employees.
Please note that notifications are for requests or time-off ONLY. You will not be notified of any changes to their schedule. Please ensure your organization is using the @mention feature in notes or comments when making a change to someone on your team to get notified.
