The new Person and Placeholder Side Panels allow you to edit person/ placeholder details seamlessly while viewing the schedule on the People Planner.

Before the introduction of the Side Panel, when you need to edit Person/ Placeholder Details, the Planner will be blocked temporarily when you need to edit Person/ Placeholder details:

New Side Panel Design

With the side panel design, you can easily view the Planner and Person/ Placeholder details side by side:

The new People Side Panel allows you to view your team's availability and project timelines without closing the panel. This makes it easy to decide which resource is best suited for your needs by providing quick access to key information such as skills, location, previous work history, notes, and capacity, all in one place.

How to open the People Side Panel

From the People Planner, click on the 3-dot icon next to a Person's Name, then click 'View Details':

The Person's Side Panel also includes:

  • Add to Favorites

  • View Dashboard

  • View Schedule

  • Archive and Delete

How to Open Placeholder Side Panel

From the People Planner, click on the 3-dot icon next to a Placeholder, then click 'View Details':

Resourcing Request

When you want to raise a resource request, hover over Request and select Request <role>

(Optional) Leave a comment to add any additional details about the request that you would like the resource manager/functional manager to know.

Note: Admins and editors can make requests and leave comments. All Admin, Editor, and Viewer users can view ALL the requests and comments.

View Resourcing Request Status

You can view the resourcing request status on the side panel:
