We recently identified a bug in Reports and Insights that was affecting proper calculation of grouped capacity and utilization as it was including the capacity of archived people who did not have a contract end date.
The Issue
Archived people without a contract end date were having their capacity included in for periods after they were archived.
The Fix
We will assign a contract end date to archived people based on their last assignment date or logged timesheets.
Was I affected?
Possibly. When you archive a person, you're prompted to add an end date to their contract before you can archive. But we did allow these to be archived without a contract end date in the past.
The result
After this fix is released next week, their capacity will no longer be counted beyond the date they were archived.
What does this mean for you?
You may notice changes to group-level capacity and any related metrics in Reports and Insights as archived people's capacity will now be excluded if the time period selected only covers the period after they were archived.
